Drop testing is a key solution to providing data digitizing analysis for better packaging design.

The KD-128 Drop Tester is a Package Drop Test System manufactured by King Design. The Drop Tester focuses on systematical and digital analysis on specimens dropped. The Drop Test System can analyze anti-vibration, shock endurance and packaging protection. Testing results provide useful insights and data for future packaging considerations.

Combined with the patented two-step unload, the holding arm separates at high-speed from the test object to ensure that the arm does not block the free fall of the test object or specimen.

The Drop Tester from King Design also features a patented buffer installment that absorbs more than 90% of the arm vibration, allowing for a smooth operation and completion of test.

The arm also features a safety mechanism to ensure that the arm remains in the original position all the time during failures of electricity and compressed air supply.

The KD-128 range can test specimens up to a maximum payload of 60kg, and from a height of up to 2.0 meters. Custom models allow for extended heights for bespoke tests, please speak with our expert sales team for further information.
