The KD-HL01 Series Hail Test System from King Design is a state-of-the-art Hail Test Solution designed to simulate four tests on Solar and Photovoltaic Panels to IEC 61646 -61215
The four-in-one Hail Tester includes Impact Test, Push Test, Wire Compartment and Securement Test.
The Launcher for the KD-HL01 Series Hail Tester has been awarded a World Wide Patent, and is a world first.
The Ice Ball Simulator is designed to reproduce hail perfectly, to simulate close to real-world test. The hail diameter is 24.0mm (other options are available). Hail is launched at an adjustable speed of 15 ~ 40 m/s +5%.
The King Design Hail Impact Test System features a speed detector which is located around 50cm from the surface of the test module. The launcher features a laser pointer, activator, protection mast, regulator, is manually adjustable on the X-Y axis and uses compressed air to propel the hail at the test sample.
King design can also provide Hail test systems that are bespoke for customers’ needs based on the KD-HL01 series proven technology
