IMV expands its Sales of Multi axis Test products into Europe and the USA to now include Electro-Dynamic four poster full vehicle Test Systems.
Date: 28th January 2012
Following the success of the sales of their Electro-dynamic 4 poster test systems to the Asian automotive market, IMV Corporation have announced that they will now be able to offer this technology to their European and American customers.
Electro dynamic 4 poster systems have been used for full vehicle testing in Asia for a number of years with many of the high quality Japanese automotive manufacturers installing these systems for both dynamic testing and to identify Squeak and rattle issues on full vehicles and sub systems.
Electro Dynamic Vibration test systems have been traditionally used in the automotive industry for the testing of components and smaller systems , IMV have provided test equipment for this market and developed there standard range of equipment to encompass the changes in specifications that have evolved in recent years.
IMV have a comprehensive range of single axis shaker systems that include their J series that has 100mm Displacement.
This on-going development of their standard product range has allowed IMV to produce even higher displacements of up to 250 mm whilst still maintaining a wide frequency range , far exceeding the capabilities of traditional servo Hydraulic actuators.
With IMVs significant track record in manufacturing complex SIMULTANEOUS Multi axis test Systems it has been a natural step to bring this technology to the full vehicle test environment
The IMV solution includes:
- Proven multi axis closed loop control –Allowing consistent reproduction of complex wave forms
- IMVs patented ICCU allows high frequency 3 axis Simultaneous multi axis tests to be performed on each attachment point
- High force –Air cooled Vibrators-Which remove the need to have expensive Hydraulic ring mains installed
- Low Noise operation for Squeak and Rattle
- ECO facility automatically controls the power required for a given test and enables substantial power savings to be made
- The System does not require any power when in the test set up phase and therefore reduces running costs and carbon emission’s
