The Module Breakage Tester, manufactured by King Design has been designed to test Solar and PV Panels by impacting the sample with a Hitting bag. The system itself is constructed from Aluminum, and has a test bracket 80mm x 80mm in dimension.
A full enclosure including crane and barriers is also provided
The Hitting Bag is made from Fibre Glass, containing 45.5 Kg of 7.5mm Lead shot and is attached to a heavy duty attachment cable
King Design’s Module Breakage Tester features an electronic weighing machine with a sensitivity of 0.1g. This metric can be switched to Kg, lbs, Carat or PCS. The tester also has a Digital Ruler, with a range of 0 – 100mm & resolution of 0.01mm and a Stopwatch for accurately timing tests.
The option for either AC or DC power supply is available.
