The BBCs popular “The One Show” television program recently used the SM Instruments sound camera as part of a televised feature on Marsh frogs.

The Acoustic Camera from SM Instruments was used in an study performed at the North Kent Marshes in the South East of England where Marsh Frogs are abundant and local residents have complained about their noise levels.

The SM Instruments Acoustic Camera is used to locate the Marsh frogs and then record the noise levels, the production team  focused on being able to identify individual Marsh Frogs which are difficult to spot with the naked eye.

The SM Instruments camera recorded video  with overlay of location and the sound levels in decibels.
